New Work process.

I've been going through my facebook feed and I stumbled upon Jan Urschel who is a wicked Concept Artist. I have closely studied his work and some of his process pictures and I came up with a process that could both help me to produce better work and speed my workflow. I mainly use this method to set up perspective and composition.

So this is a quick landscape made using Zbrush. For a base I used a plane, then I used couple of my rock Alphas on it to generate bumps, rocks and topology flow. I then transferred the plane into keyshot, where I added texture and a light source.
And here's the final painting. Quite different from the original 3D model, but as I mentioned before, I mainly use this method for idea generation.
Hope you find this useful.
