Here's a piece that I have freshly finished. Really enjoyed working on this one, as it tested my skill set to a great extent. The idea for this piece grew quite randomly in my head and I decided to tackle the assignment to see what I can achieve. I was also hugely inspired by Andy Walsh's 3dtotal tutorial, which you can check out here
There are times when I start my project with a variety of simple sketches, but this time I had a clear idea of what I wanted to accomplish in the final image. So I decided to go straight into 3D software. In that case, a combination of Maya, Keyshot, Daz Studio and Marvelous Designer. I have quickly mocked up a scene that I would later paint on top of. That way I get, things like perspective, anatomy and light, for free.

And here's the final image. Unfortunately, I do not have any in between shots. I have used a lot of photo textures and custom brushes. As I said before, I really enjoyed working on this piece and I am looking forward to my next project.
Thanks!
