Hey guys,
Long time no see. Here's a piece that I've been working on for the past week or so. I really wanted to challenge myself this time and test my knowledge. This piece originated from Summerset trailer that I've seen during the recent E3 event.

Anway, here are some progress pictures that I managed to save. Since I was planning to do quite a dynamic angle, I've decided to use 3D as a base for my sketch. I've quickly composed a scene and decided on the angle, which you can see above.

Above, is a picture of everything being assembled together (apart from the second character laying on the altar). Once I was happy with the light direction and how everything looked, I've moved on to Photoshop where I've started to paint over the render.

And here's the final picture. As you can see, it is quite similar to the final render shown above. At this point, all I've done is a lot of brushwork and photo textures. It was quite a fun challenge, and it definitely boosted my confidence when it comes to more complex compositions.
If you would like to see more of my work, don't hesitate to visit my facebook or artstation page.
Until next time. Cya!

Here's a piece that I have freshly finished. Really enjoyed working on this one, as it tested my skill set to a great extent. The idea for this piece grew quite randomly in my head and I decided to tackle the assignment to see what I can achieve. I was also hugely inspired by Andy Walsh's 3dtotal tutorial, which you can check out here
There are times when I start my project with a variety of simple sketches, but this time I had a clear idea of what I wanted to accomplish in the final image. So I decided to go straight into 3D software. In that case, a combination of Maya, Keyshot, Daz Studio and Marvelous Designer. I have quickly mocked up a scene that I would later paint on top of. That way I get, things like perspective, anatomy and light, for free.

And here's the final image. Unfortunately, I do not have any in between shots. I have used a lot of photo textures and custom brushes. As I said before, I really enjoyed working on this piece and I am looking forward to my next project.
Thanks!

Hello, guys. Here's a piece that I have JUST finished. The overall idea behind this artwork was to make it story driven and engaging at the same time. I've decided to go with a dark, claustrophobic and scary setup.

And here's the final piece, all nicely assembled and ready to go. I really enjoyed working on this piece as I've tested a new workflow that I never thought about.

Here you can see some of my progress shots that I managed to capture throughout the process of making this piece. I've built the level using Maya and then applied various textures. Later I imported the whole thing into Keyshot and set up some lighting.
Originally, I was planning not to add any characters, but upon assembly, I realised that everything looked really empty and uninteresting. As you can see I've added a female character and some sort of creature. That way I have fulfilled my original intent of making this piece story driven. Overall it was a fun, short project that I am quite happy with and I am looking forward to making more art in the future. Cheers! :)
Hello, it's me again. Here's a piece that I've finished a few days ago. You might not know this, but I am a huge and I mean HUGE Star Wars fan. I've decided to make a fan art and see how it turns out.

As you can see (or not) I've decided to make a Tatooine village. I've tried to stay as close to the original shapes and forms as possible but also give it my own slight twist. I've also managed to capture few shots of my workflow in hope, it might help some people.

While working on this piece, I've built around 20 different structures in hope to assemble them together and build some sort of city/village. If you've been reading through my other posts, I am following the same process that I use in most of my works. After I made few renders (trying out different angles and light directions) I decided to go with a middle image as I felt it was the angle I looked for. From there I took the image into Photoshop and worked on it until I was satisfied with the result. Overall I am quite happy with how this piece turned out and I am looking forward to making more Star Wars artworks.
Cheers!
Hey guys, how you doing? Here's a piece that I have been thinking about quite a lot in the past. Now that I am a little bit more knowledgeable than before, I've decided to tackle this project and see what I can come up with.

The whole idea was to create a scene with a godly like statue showing great power and dominance over the surrounding environment, but at the same time looked friendly and soothing. When I look at this piece it reminds me of this one quest in Oblivion, where you had to travel to the similar looking statue and pray (I think).

Above you can see some progress shots of the scene that I made. I've used Maya to build all the hard surface elements, DAZ to pose a model and MDesigner to dress it. Once the whole scene was set up, I've imported everything into Keyshot and I've set up few lights that suited my needs. From there I took the rendered picture into Photoshop and started polishing it.
And that's about it. Hope it helps you and I'll see you in a bit!
Apologies for being absent for such a long time. I've been neglecting this page for far too long. Just a quick update on what I've been doing recently. I've been focusing quite a bit on expanding my knowledge, improving my workflow and reducing time spent on each piece.
Above you can see a character that I've done a few weeks ago. It was definitely a good practice and allowed me to test my knowledge and new techniques that I've acquired in the past few months.
Hopefully, I will be more consistent with this page. I definitely want to keep you lot up to date with the staff that I'm doing and keep this page up to date.
Cheers for checking this stuff out and I'll hopefully see ya'll soon! Peace!
